Kaneohe / Everett, WA., May 11, 2004 - MaliciousBitch.com (MBC), the popular EZine and website, also known as “The Website For Women Who Just Ain’t Gonna Take It No More” adopts a major attitude adjustment to accommodate “The Male Perspective”. MBC has not only been a major destination on the Internet for women since it’s inception, but the playing field levels out with a steadily increasing surge of male interest and membership. Yes, that’s right. MBC is kicking it up with the guys, sharing and exposing some edgy, yet refreshing perspectives for both men and women alike.
“The 20Sumthin’ Perspective” brings us through the trials and tribulations of being a 20 something male in the 2000's. Columnist, Ignatius Goh shares his viewpoint on women in today's society; where the hell have they all gone and why? 20Sumthin’ is complimented with tips on fashion trends and faux paus, fitness and an open Q & A arena from the bitch to the boy.
"Bitch Please." A reality check can save the day and at many times, is a necessity! The truth is often like an unexpected and unwelcome guest. Nonetheless, whether it is in a positive light, or so blunt and harsh it causes heart palpitations, in the end everything seems to work itself out. Men and women alike are living in denial of the truth! You see these people day-to-day and think, "they should know better..." And the only thing you're left to unconsciously, yet with force, say is "Bitch please!" It's the point to which we (those of us tired of all the crap) take a stand and say, "oh, hell no!" This is the truth told whether you can say it yourself, or Columnist, Tionne has to say it for you!
Steve Andersen brings his popular video review column, “Reel Advice From The Video Store Guy” to MBC readers. Steve Andersen, much to his own chagrin, is a five-plus year veteran of the direct to video market. He has spent an alarming amount of time in video stores and seeks to provide the public with advance information on all the video releases that they may never have heard of...whether they want to hear of them or not. Steve writes "Reel Advice from the Video Store Guy," a column appearing in one way or another weekly, biweekly, or monthly on such fine entertainment-related ezines as Dream Forge, Reel Horror, Acid Logic, Chaotic Culture Magazine, and soon, Film Threat. Steve is desperately trying to build his readership so that, one fine day, he can pitch "Reel Advice" to Fangoria without getting laughed out of the room. Readers, agents, or editors can contact Steve through the contact information listed on this page at MBC.
Yes, they all call him the “BitchMastah” and he’s still stirring up a little edge of his own with the addition of Corporate Crap (A real HR How-To or rather, How-Not-To), which compliments the ongoing volumes and lifelong sagas in “The Malicious Bitch Survival Guide”.
Of course, with the massive amounts of testosterone merging into the house of bitch, who better to serve up some straight from the lip prose than Roxanne Cottell, better known as “Aunty Mapuana” with her column, “Observations of a Demented Housewife”. If there were ever a soul meant to head this column, it would definitely be Mapuana! She was born to a minister and his wife, better known as, “God's Secretary”. She’s 34 going on 18, married to the same guy for almost 15 years, and has three kids and a dog, better known as, “Kimo”. She teaches hula and writes... and writes, and writes... oh of course, she bitches a lot, too, which is why “Observations” is a must read for everyone.
Following up the “he said, she said” equation, we have the pleasure of announcing Columnist, Alma Zeno kicking up some of her own dust for the MBC readership with the debut of her column “Corporate Whoredom”. Alma shares what that 9-5 grind entails when it's really an 8-8! Alma graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a degree in Communication Arts (and student loans the size of the national deficit) Alma currently works in a 9 to 5 job in a not-for-profit organization and writes in her spare time. She likes Chinese food, alternative rock, and shoes that look great and don't pinch her feet!
All said and done, what better to wrap up these fabulous new columns with than some hilarious high jinxes in “Online Boys Have The Best Candy” - The entertaining escapades about life after the big D with MBC Editor, Angelia L. Paulin.
MaliciousBitch.com is a progressive, online member-based community for women (and men, too) who have been justly or unjustly accused of being a “bitch”, and a means to release the frustration constructively in an entertaining venue.
